Online Nutrition Consultations
As a registered nutritional therapist, I want to support you to reach your health goals in a way that is sustainable, non-restrictive, and personalised to you.
My aim is to help you develop a positive relationship with food, while achieving your health goals, whether you’re looking for support with a specific health condition or looking for general advice on nutrition.
I use a holistic approach that considers all aspects of your life, and make evidence-based nutrition recommendations to build you a nutrition and lifestyle plan that works around your day-to-day routine.
Your Nutritional Consultation
Initial consultations last approximately 1 and a half hours but do please allow up to 2 hours in total. During this time we will go through a detailed case history covering diet, lifestyle and medical records.
Prior to the consultation I will send you a questionnaire to fill in at home and ask you to email back to me prior to our appointment – see below.
We will work together in order to understand the root of your health problems. I will ask questions on subjects such as your eating habits, your cooking skills, food preferences, energy levels, digestive function and stress levels.
We may also look at potential past trigger events for current symptoms, environmental exposures to toxic metals such as mercury, childhood illnesses, previous hospitalisations, and any past traumas you feel you may have.
Accreditation
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Natural Therapists (BANT) and a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
BANT is a registering body for nutrition professionals. Its aim is to assist members in attaining the highest standards of integrity, knowledge, competence and professional practice, in order to protect client’s interests and the reputation of nutritional therapy as a profession.
